The Ultimate Girls Trip To Las Vegas

For me, nothing beats a girls trip to Vegas. Whether you visit over the summer or during New Years Eve (I’ve done both), there’s so much to see and do!

Where to stay?

MGM Grand isn’t the most luxurious but if you’re planning on partying most of the time then this is the perfect location. It is right in the middle of everything.

If you want to be boujee, stay at The Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, The Venetian, Caesars Palace or ARIA.

Ballin on a budget, I’d suggest staying at Luxor or The LINQ. They are both a bit farther away from clubs but the atmosphere is great and the rooms are perfect.

Avoid Excalibur at all costs, it may be inexpensive but you do not want to be there. I recently stayed there and had to call security because the clientele at this hotel are crazy. You either get families or extremely drunk people.

Where to party?

  • Wet Republic pool party. This is located right at MGM Grand. Make sure to rent a locker to hold all of your belongings.
  • Omnia Nightclub located in Caesar’s Palace. This is hands down my favorite club in Las Vegas. Make sure to check out the rooftop bar, it has an amazing view of the strip.
  • Hakkasan Nightclub is located in MGM Grand, they usually have amazing DJs performing so make sure to check the schedule.
  • XS Nightclub located in the Wynn.
  • Get drunk food at Taco Bell Cantina.

Pro tip – Find a promoter on Instagram and you’ll get in for free at every club (unless it’s NYE then I would suggest buying tickets in advance). Just look up #Vegaspromoter or #LasVegaspromoter and start messaging people. A lot of the time you’ll get approached on the street as well from promoters.

Do I need to book anything in advance?

  • Get tickets for Thunder Down Under. Trust me, just go.
  • Book happy hour on the High Roller, the largest Ferris where in the world. Yes, it’s bigger than the London Eye.

Vegas is known for it’s shows, I’ve seen both Blue Man Group and Cirque Du Soleil, both were amazing. I’ve done this on family trips and not a girls trip but it’s definitely something to consider.

Where should we eat?

One of the staples of Las Vegas food are buffets and almost every hotel has them.

If you’re on a budget I’d suggest the following:

  • The Buffet at ARIA. The breakfast buffet for adults is $24.99.
  • Seasons Buffet, located in Silverton Casino right off the strip.
  • Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar located at the LINQ. They have $25 bottomless mimosas between 9am-1pm and $5 scorpion tequila shots.
  • Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken located in front of Bally’s.
  • Carmine’s located in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace has the best food. This is a family style Italian restaurant, so be prepared for large portions. They have brunch specials on Saturday’s & Sunday’s. Also ask about their happy hour deals.

If you want to be boujee:

  • Carbone located in the Aria hotel.
  • Catch located in the Aria hotel is absolutely insta-worthy at every turn.
  • Cipriani located at the Wynn. Very good food but expensive so be prepared!

Is there anything else to do?

Of course there is, it’s Vegas!

  • Go watch the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel. They go off every 30 minutes from 3pm-8pm and every 15 minutes from 8pm-midnight.
  • Ride the Big Apple roller coaster at New York New York hotel.
  • Take a gondola ride at the Venetian Resort & pretend you are in Italy.
  • Go shopping in Caesars Palace Forum shops.
  • If you want to get away from the strip for a day, head to Red Rock Canyon or Seven Magic Mountains. Each are about 30 minute drive & the perfect escape.
  • Last but not least, go to the casino and play the slots for a bit.

Have the absolute best time ever. Make sure to give yourself a vacation from this vacation!
